South Mesa Trailhead is one of the most sought-after locations for senior and portrait sessions, offering stunning scenery and diverse backdrops. With its picturesque bridge, rustic fence, mountain views, open fields, large rock formations, and a scenic river, this location provides breathtaking settings in every season.
Getting There
Located 1.7 miles west of Highway 93 on Eldorado Springs Drive (Highway 170), South Mesa Trailhead is about 30 minutes from Broomfield.
Meeting Details
If you’ve booked a session here, please meet me at the park entrance near the small parking lot. Parking requires $5 cash per vehicle. I’ll be waiting at the entrance with my camera and purple wagon, ready to assist in carrying outfit changes and belongings.
Important Note
Currently, the river at South Mesa Trailhead is closed for photography. If you'd like water shots, we can head to Eldorado Canyon State Park, just one mile away. However, reservations are now required for entry, so please let me know in advance if you’d like to include this location in your session.
